ApiaryLens 0.1.0 Preview 1

Release status

ApiaryLens Preview 1 is the current Public Preview. It is intended for families, hobbyists, mentors, and operators who want to evaluate the product and help shape what comes next. It is not GA or a stable release. Features, workflows, and interfaces may change, and updates may arrive frequently.

What is available

A safe, resettable demonstration at ApiaryLens.app.
The responsive, installable, offline-capable PWA for apiaries, hives, queens, equipment, inspections, photos, health and mite records, feeding, treatments, harvests, follow-ups, and family workflows.
Built-in accounts, owner/beekeeper/viewer roles, invitations, private media, synchronization, export, backup, restore, and conflict recovery.
A Cloudflare-native deployment for Workers, D1, R2, and the optional web frontend in an account controlled by the operator.
A portable Docker Compose deployment for a local Linux computer, personally controlled hardware, or a Linux VM in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or another suitable provider.
Public user, operator, security, architecture, deployment, and developer documentation.

Scout Bee is a separately versioned deployment bootloader that is coming soon. The standalone Windows application is also future work. Neither is part of the current Preview 1 end-user download offering.

Preview safety

The public demo uses sample records. Do not enter private hive, identity, or family data into it. Use a deployment you control for real records.

Keep a current backup and export before every update or migration. Do not treat Preview 1 as the sole copy of irreplaceable hive records or media. Review the update and recovery lifecycle before changing a deployment.

Preview 1 does not promise permanent free provider allowances, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility across every future Preview update.

Feedback and support

Report reproducible product issues with the release, deployment profile, browser or device, and sanitized diagnostics where possible. Never include passwords, tokens, private hive locations, or irreplaceable media in an issue. Security and data-loss risks should follow the security policy.
